Summary
If you have a disease and you know that, that isn’t a problem, you can take your treatment and recovery. But if you have a disease but you don’t know that that is a problem.so we decided to work in this field. After making a lot of researches, we found that half of the patients who die from a heart attack were very active and haven’t any symptoms, and this type called a silent heart attack. The heart tries to recover by himself and we will feel with simple symptoms like pain, fatigue …etc. also, the heart produces a negative protein called (FABP3) during the attack and our device depends on it.
How We Addressed This Challenge
We have worked on one of the most dangerous diseases that the people faced these days. It is a silent heart attack. We have taken the idea from another device and we developed it. As the device was found out the silent heart attack before it happened. So, we added some things such as the protein which is the opposite of another protein that causes the silent heart attack. We also added a siring that carried the medicine (aspirin) and the device also has a small lamp that will make an alarm before the silent heart attack happen. After the alarm, the siring will get out automatically and give the patient the medicine. In this case, we think that we did a great development on the first device. We think that this development is so important. Because as we know that many people died from this disease every year. And by this development, we will save the lives of many people and if other people can make other developments on it this will be good for people.
Finally, we hope that our idea can be done in the fact with good quality and the right materials and everyone can use it and save his life by himself in his position.
How We Developed This Project
Better together challenge was the best one for us to choose as our device work to make people better and help heart attack patients a lot and care about them as it measures the amount of FABP3 protein which tells you how stable is your heart and the heart produce a lot of it when its in danger. Also, our device gives aspirin to reduce the danger and it is connected to the nearest hospital using IoT and Bluetooth to call the emergence and rescued the patient from attack.
Discussing with friends about their grandparents who are patient with a heart attack was our effective way to improve the project as we saw what they need and improved it.
IOT developed our device by connecting it with the hospital. Also, electronics and Arduino helped us to give the patient aspirin automatically. It also helped to make an alert with voice and light to tell the patient that he may be in danger soon.
The biggest problem was the high cost of the device as it uses highly developed things so we worked to reduce the cost by reducing the size until we arrived to 1 thousand pounds instead of 5 thousand and it took a lot of effort and time but it became an amazing achievement to us.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
In our project, we used many sources and references but also NASA sources had a great impact on our project where it led us to complete the project correctly and also helped us to develop some things in our project and also we used sources CSA, CNES, and JAXA that make our project in good condition and have a good development of high quality as it helped us reduce the funds in our project which in turn made our project low costs and all people can buy it, and will also help them to treat their disease and this is due to God bless first and our diligence and our use of NASA resources.
