Summary

The project consist in the development of a technological device that use hologram mix reality, which allows the visualization in 3D images that also add an axis of 360 degree where likewise the manipulation of the images is allowed by controls established with a mobile app to illustrate the topics taugh on the educational system. Moreover the prototype is desing to be eco-friendly thanks to the the solar panel system build on it, by the inalambric battery as consequence this permited to funcion in many envioroments being esasier to install, even those without access to electricity. We hope that this can be used by both students and educational institutions.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We develop a digital prototype device that makes a scaled projection of 3 dimensional images, through a projector that transmit and reflects tha light with the implementation of reflective glasses in order to create a three-dimensional image that is perceived by the viewer. The EDU-20G will be manipulated through our app that can funcion with and without internet conection. One of the most important funtions of this app is the management of the projected images. Clearly is important because it would allowed anyone with a smarth phone with access to the application to view any type of image or video in real time, contents that are usually better to understood in visual way and that in contrast to the actual system allows a highly interactive experince without limits of materials and locations sources. It would helps to reduce the educational gap that currently exists due to digitization and COVID-19 effects on educational world. A importanta porcentaje of educational system have been drecreased by the limited availability of practical teaching materials outside of what already exists. We hope that this device can be used by students to learn through reality mix about space, science and the STEAM area, in conclusionl within an environment practically similar to the reality.


How We Developed This Project

To choose this challenge we are inspired by the educational gaps within the differents private or public traditional educational systems, since within the face-to-face reality we live this gap day by day, and we evidence the insane increase in this gap thanks to the situation we are currently experiencing.since where not everyone have the same educational opportunities due to many factors, and we wanted to improve the STEAM area promotion , inspire and provide unique learning opportunities for all people who within the common environment does not access to them as a person does, for example access to opportunities like Space Apps Challenge.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We use scientific and space information data as educational resources within the device, which greatly influenced the approach of the project to open a world of opportunities in science and technology for all interested people but mainly for those who do not have access to these materials technologies such as a telescope, an engine, a laboratory, among others, and they can do it thanks to the device with the information generated by NASA, and so many others.
