Summary

Practicality, saving time, improving health conditions, leisure through gardening, horticulture. Easy access to inputs and information on cultivation. Practicality of having the best cultivation conditions through automation. Gamification with real harvest at the end, leading the children to have contact with the land and plants.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We have developed a way to connect people to conscious consumption of pesticide-free products, making them connect through an application and communication channels (social networks) to exchange information and experiences, we hope that this project will encourage more and more people to look for natural and healthy ways

How We Developed This Project

Nowadays we see a great increase in industrialized products and the difficulty in finding these natural foods in the cities, with these thoughts we elaborated the KULTIVE project, we used JAVASCRIPT, PHP and REACT

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

With access to resources through terrestrial detections and data detected remotely by GPM (pollution), SMAP (soil pollution), GRACE (groundwater), MODIS / VIIRS / Landsat / Sentinel (surface characterization, with surface coverage) and GEOS-5 / MERRA-2 products, can evaluate changes in water availability (water stress), changes in agricultural food production systems, energy consumption, we use this data availability as the basis for our project, in order to reduce costs in monitoring plantations.
