The project is working on filling the gap between people who has epilepsy and the people around them. Our idea has a goal of making the people who has epilepsy and their companions have a normal life without stress and not be worry all the time which may cause psychiatric disorder like anxiety and depression. We hope by this project we can make these people feeling safe and close the gap between them and the outside world. The smart watch we are working on will help both of the patient and his companion(s) for being not afraid all time about the probability of anything can happen by sending the companions a notification within second when their patient has a seizure and then they have the ability to be with them and this may decrease the percentage of the deaths by epilepsy every year. The smart watch with AI can detect the seizure by sensors attached with the skin and see the patient all-day behavior which give us the ability of knowing if there is any seizure at the same time of happening.
Our team wished to be equal rights and normal lives for the people who has epilepsy and not to be shamed about it. We searched about how the epilepsy happens in the human body and we found how it makes seizure on the skin and then knew how to make a smart watch we can make and it then detects the seizure on time and then we can save many lives near to 60 millions around world. We used Arduino board (Arduino pro mini) and connect different sensors (EDA sensor, GSR sensor, OLED lid, and Bluetooth module) as Hardware and all of them are programmed by C++ Language. We faced many problems due to the quarantine and connection was harder than any time before, but we didn't stop working and by using different social media connection platform we could make a progress neither high nor low. We can say that we are able to make the device but all we need is some materials coming from outside and that what we need for more progress and go to the final step in the project.
Honestly, We didn't find what we need on them.
