There were several phases in the project and without experienced team members it was not
possible to execute the challenges . The whole project depends on the success in different
fields. We managed to find team members according to the project requirements. I myself (Sayedul Mostain Taranga) was the hardware engineer , Shoaib Mahmud - the app developer, Nasif Chowdhury Zisan - programmer, Sayma Arefin Shouty - team manager and Mohammad Sayedul Mottakin - 3D designer.
Our aim was to solve the problems through our project Ambulance UAV. First of all , the main
problem was to reach patients in rural areas. We designed a drone for the ambulance that
can easily fly from one place to another by following navigation system and it can reach to
the destination within a few moments. It can be easily controlled by the central hospital
Management.
Secondly, we prepared the drone with a capacity of 8kg payload so that it can carry emergency medicines and blood bag as well. The chamber has the properties to keep the medicine within the specific temperature.
Finally, thinking about the covid19 or dying patients we also prepared an emergency ventilator with built in screen and a camera. Using this the doctor can monitor the condition of the patients and can give instruction through real time video feed. Then we programmed a ventilator system with Arduino IDE and developed an app called WaveVent in Android Studio. The doctor can set the pressure volume of the ventilator according to the patient’s need via the app WaveVent. The application is based on google firebase. Therefore the doctor can control the whole system remotely.
