Finding a method to detect floods before it happens

Summary

Here, we use pressure sensors. The pressure sensors detect the actual pressure. After that, the height of the water level is calculated automatically. If that height exceeds the maximum water level of the river, then a signal is sent to the checking point which is near the river. After that, the message of alert is distributed among the relations.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Due to heavy rain, most of the people have to face floods. In Sri Lanka, there are some systems to detect floods, before it happens. Even though those systems are certified, still people have to face floods. They have to lost their properties due to floods. Flooding season is a period of diseases. Therefore, we decided to create another system to detect floods.
