Our project is targeting to be able to put off the fires early so that it won’t extract huge amounts.
Benefits for our community,it can save time for us and facilitate our missions .it makes us able to control the situations faster and also achieve
safety for us.
The problems that I am about to address are the problems of wildfire
for human.
Most firesall over the world are concentrated in areas that have woods near of them
(forests) in Australia, tropical areas and also in the isolated places in the countries where most fires occur.
What will happen if this problem is not solved?
If we don’t solve this problem, the result will be:
• Increasing the amounts of extracted smokes from the fires of different sources.
• Affecting the climate, increase global warming, and affecting the ozone layer.
(Due to the large increase in the amounts of extracted CO2)
• Increasing air pollution among the world leading to an increase in asphyxia for
many people especially small children and old people. Therefore, affecting
human health.
• Affecting the plants reproduction and photosynthesis process and affecting
animals
: Fires of woods(forests) which is considered one of
the biggest disasters for the Earth…
An uncontrolled forest fire can devastate everything in its path, spread for miles,
crossing rivers and roads. Each year, between 60,000 and 80,000 forest fires
occur, destroying between 3 and 10 million hectares
-What will happen if this problem is solved?
If we solve this problem, the result will be:
1) Saving the lives of many creatures.
2) Improve a better healthy life for humans and plants by reducing pollution rates
and CO2 gas therefore obtaining a healthier fresh air to breathe.
3) The damages that are happening for facilities as a result of fires in
infrastructure will be reduced. (so that, saving money that are lost as a result of
damages)
4) Achieving more safe life.
5) Decreasing global warming.
6) Reducing fires of woods so that keeping our environment and the homes of
animals.
To solve this problem, we try to improved a safety system to decrease the wildfires all
over the world leading to decreasing the harmful consequences of it.
The project aims to reducing the fires of forests, reducing fires of facilities and the damages that happen by fires, so we focus to be more accurate to have a less loses.
When we used sensor which detect heat, we found some error and false fire alarm like the heat from lampposts so, we preferred to use fire sensor instead of heat sensor. For more range we usex fire sensor and gas sensor also to detect gases that produce from fires
We made this project to do without extremal action from human also by quick situation to have time to control fire. When fire start, sensors start to give signals to "NodeMCU" then, transfer to the RPI 3B+ through MQTT protocol which will be recieved on the RPi's broker and send it into the cloud server "node red" platform and then the GSM Module will recieve the signals and sending call to the fire station attached with the location, by doing this the fire is saved quickly.
Now we are a group of a participants at NASA space Apps competition so, obviously that we had taken many information that we had searched about from the Materials & resources that given to us by the space agency, as we had got the benefit of the resources as much as we could such as: Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) and we had found some Important details about the fire and its dates the most harmful fires that had affected the forests which made us have more information about the huge that we try to solve , also from the fire map we had determined the most places that the fires happen at it, to gain more knowledge about the location that our project can applicable at, and from the previous versions of the challenge we also after reading them we had found some misconceptions that we may fall in , and may represents a crush for us , so it clarified our vision for the challenge and that’s is.
