Awards & Nominations

Fire-Detectors has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!

Global Nominee

Spot That Fire V3.0

Recent wildfires worldwide have demonstrated the importance of rapid wildfire detection, mitigation, and community impact assessment analysis. Your challenge is to develop and/or augment an existing application to detect, predict, and assess the economic impacts from actual or potential wildfires by leveraging high-frequency data from a new generation of geostationary satellites, data from polar-orbiting environmental satellites, and other open-source datasets.

Fire-detectors

Summary

The program developed by deterministic algorithm where AI can predict potential cases based on metrics and past experiences. The grid of metrics will consist of the following components: Air humidity, Forest area, Season, Weekday, Temperature, Potential tourist route etc.For future development aircraft cameras can detect infrared waves and transmit alarms when they collide with fire waves. At this time the satellites may concentrate and begin monitoring a specific areaAs well as do Economic and environmental damage assessment as analytics and report posted on the website. AI takes information from different data source and shows result, were is higher potential of fire.

How We Addressed This Challenge

we have developed the program, which will available to let us know where and when is a high chance of fire.

The program is going to be highly important in order of fire prevention. if firefighters would know where will be fire for next day, they can prevent it before beginning.

The program use AI, and takes information from different source in live.

we hope we will help the world with fire fighting.

How We Developed This Project

If nature gives us lots amount of air to breath, we should give it to live as well. The main problem that we are facing is that fire frequency in California is not strange anymore, Air quality is on the red edge, During the pandemic/remote working process people are less likely to notice fire hazardous cases During the summer seasons events, Cigarettes, Dried spruce, high temperature, bonfire without attention.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We created a program which can control potential fire cases in live podcast from NASA satellite video/pictures to be more focused after alert.
