Our project aims to reduce the number of animals that are burned in forest areas and at the same time we seek to alert the authorities when a fire outbreak is detected. To make this possible, we will use a network of logic boards capable of detecting the signs of fire (air humidity and temperature) and send a signal to the authorities, so that they are able to know exactly the location of the fire spots and fight them more quickly. In the same way, the logic boards will emit sound waves that are sensitive to the animals of the region, so the animals will be repelled away from the fire spots before the fire spreads to where they are.
In last year's spaceapps, our team had initially participated in this theme, having a great influence on our choice of theme for this year, our approach this year was very different, instead of focusing on making a functional application, the approach was having the idea mature and develop it with mockups. In terms of technologies we used Arduino for the physical part of the idea and figma for mockups. Our achievement was to increase the idea with something to try to reduce the deaths of animals in fires.

We analyzed the data from the VIIRS 375m / NOAA-20, VIIRS 375m / Suomi NPP, MODIS / Aqua and MODIS / Terra satellites, to check the proportions, durations and frequency so that we could create a pattern in the distance of the devices so that they do not miss any outbreaks of fire. In addition, we use the data to help us find exact numbers of fire outbreaks per month and per year so that we can provide more accurate information.

We use a lot of data from nasa and IPEA to support our analize about the impact of burns in the life of animals .
