Can You Hear Me Now?

Human missions to Mars are moving from the realm of science fiction to science fact. Your challenge is to design an interactive application to explore the challenge of communicating with astronauts on Mars from Earth.

Codes for Mars

Summary

After concluding that the problem in question is the interference in the arrival of messages from Earth to Mars, we think of more analogous ways for the problem.Initially we thought about transmitting the information in a light code format like the Morse code. We would place satellites that would reflect this code in order to avoid possible interference, such as the sun, mercury, venus. When the lasers arrive, they would be analyzed, electronically, to understand the coded message. We believe this is a good solution to our challenge, even when the sun between these two planets is present, as we would have reflecting satellites.

How We Addressed This Challenge

With lasers we would use a code to be able to communicate with astronauts on the red planet.

How We Developed This Project

Initially we thought about transmitting the information in a light code format like the Morse code. We would place satellites that would reflect this code in order to avoid possible interference, such as the sun, mercury, venus, etc.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

NASA already has a leisure project that would have a similar function of transmitting data, but not as a form of Morse code.
