Data Discovery for Earth Science

Websites like the NASA Earth Observatory showcase the many uses of satellite data to highlight interesting natural events. International partner instruments on NASA satellites such as Japan’s ASTER instrument and Canada’s MOPITT instrument, both onboard the Terra satellite, are also included as part of the Observatory. This challenge will ask you to devise a tool or technique to guide users to relevant datasets to study specific events.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Create an easy-to-understand summary website that solves 

the problems of language,terminology,data format,a lot of web site.

So,in the future, we would like to make it available to people in disaster-prone areas and people who are not familiar with information acquisition.This time, we will target people with a relatively large population and technical level who are likely to promote their use.

How We Developed This Project

I thought It takes too long for researchers and the general public to use NASA's open data that they need.Create an easy-to-understand summary website that solves the problems.I use a tool "figma" to design this web site. We didn't use "figma". But We can use "figma", so we can now easily design a website.


How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used space agency data as an example of open data for creating web pages.
