We collected lots of satellites' data included TLE( Two-line element set ) and SSC RESTful API. By using these data, we are not only able to put a 3D Earth module on our website but also including satellites. The user will be able to use both the first-person perspective and the third-person perspective to view our Earth from a space-to-earth perspective. Before choosing this topic, we saw a lot of different applications using similar techniques but none of them are using satellites perspective with an integrated database. We are hoping by providing this service, people who are interested in satellites or outer space can gain knowledge by using our website. Moreover, they won't be needed to imagine the sight of a floating satellite running around the Earth.
Do you still remember the first time you look upon the sky and dreamed about being able to swim in outer space? 79550103 do. We do remember the days back then, books and libraries are pretty much all we have. By using today's technology, we can do so much more! There's so much to give and won't be hard to achieve. That's why we choose this topic. Providing everyone a service to orbit the sky is our goal. We use SQL to store data, Python to connect SQL and Flask, and Flask communicates to the front-end side. We have finished the third-person perspective and space-to-earth perspective.
We use a lot of data in order to build this website. Due to our whole project is about visualizing data and putting it on our website. We use NASA ' s data to determine how the satellites will move.
