#E2ISS - Space Adventure has received the following awards and nominations. Way to go!
By making an interactive game app, the project creates interest in the general public to learn about Satellites and space. The plan is to develop an Interactive 3D Game App.
This app gives the information about the Satellite ground stations, Space Stations and satellites flowing around the earth.
It is important to engage the users (audience) to create interest and enthusiasm in learning about the hard work the Space agencies are doing for the general public day to day life.
The App lets the user create their own satellite while learning about the International Space Agencies and different types of Satellites.
Its user friendly, drag and drop interactive game/ educational app.
Creates more interest to learn about Space in a fun way.
The aim is to develop a 3D interactive App, but due to the limited time and resources, we have implemented a proto type (POC) of the App. This can be expanded to various levels to create easy to medium to hard types of Virtual Satellites.
The fact is that space agencies collect plenty of data from the satellites. Many apps are currently available to show the satellites information. But by making the app user interactive, it will be easily reached to the public.
Tools Used:
Hardware: iMac
Software: GIMP, shotcut, Blender, IncSpace, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
Coding Languages: HTML, Javascript, CSS, SCRATCH
This project can be expanded to its full functionality by using Unity (3D game development tool). C# language on the backend will be able to collect the information from space agencies APIs/Data sets. As the project is divided into multi levels game, it shouldn’t expect any performance issues.
