What did you develop?
A web application that is capable of showing real-time updated information about the orbital objects that are revolve around the earth.
Why is it important?
Most of the people in earth, don't have an idea about orbital objects that are revolving around the earth. Even if the use everyday and heard about GPS navigation systems most of them aren't aware how it's work and the technology, hard work behind those systems. we are trying to give some knowledge to users about the orbital objects and also make an entreating way to tell them about this amazing achievements of engineering technology.
What does it do?
Basically the web application is able to provide real-time location and a projected orbit of a given object(satellite) based on TLE data that we gathered from https://www.space-track.org/
How does it work?
We use the TLE data from https://www.space-track.org/ to generate and calculate the satellites orbit, current location based on the time to show a representation of orbital objects that are moving on a 3D scene that has accurate map information.
What do you hope to achieve?
We are hoping that any one can easily lean about orbital objects from our application and also we are looking forward to create a mobile app that have a game to engage users more.
We used mainly javascript to create the application and some opensource libraries and projects,
