How We Addressed This Challenge
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Our planet is a wonderful corner of the solar system. Over the course of several millennia, humanity has gradually mastered the limits of our world. Space travel has become the main dream of mankind.
Our team has developed an interactive application that scientifically tells about breakthrough propulsion systems.
You can study general information about each of the 5 presented engines, namely about: nuclear thermal rocket, ion thruster, plasma thruster(Hall-effect thruster), solar sails and also a warp drive.
How We Developed This Project
TYPE OF PROGRAM
In the center of the program there is a menu, which presents 5 types of breakthrough missile launchers.
On the right is a window with pictures of the selected engine, as well as general information for this engine.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. When the program starts, the main menu appears, where 5 main types of breakthrough engines are presented.
2. When selecting and pressing one of the buttons, a window appears where the images of the selected engine are presented.
3. Under the pictures of engines there is a button, when pressed, general information about this engine appears.
PERSPECTIVE
1. Finalize general information.
2. Develop a version of the application for Android.
3. Add a game where you can travel through outer space and collect information about the distance to known objects in the universe.
