Summary

One of the most important aspects of planetary transportation is propulsion methods used as it can make or break the success of any given space expedition while also affecting the overall cost of the whole project.We have developed a game to demonstrate different propulsion methods for interplanetary transport. In the game, we have to travel from one planet to another while dodging obstacles on the way. We have also demonstrated the current scenario of rocket propulsion by enabling the user to to control a spacecraft and showcased future prospects of rocket propulsion. By doing so we try to educate the user about the existing propulsion methods while engaging in a fun activity.

How We Addressed This Challenge

The future of space exploration is inter-planetary expeditions. To cover these large distances (some may go up to hundreds of light-years). In order to overcome this obstacle, we need more people to explore different methods of propulsion. By developing this game, we tried to educate a younger generation to explore these ideas.

How We Developed This Project

We wanted to educate people about inter and intra galactic space travel using different space craft and various propulsion methods used by them. We have used UNITY as a game engine, and various models which are made with Blender and we have done programming using C#.
