we developed a way to an educational and fun game to introduce user from all groups of age about space travel, the game is easy to use and designed for everybody. Only few people know how far human technology has reached outer space, therefore we realized the necessity to educate the people more about space travel. To make it interesting and less-boring to learn, we attached a random pop quiz and fun facts related to Astronomy in between the game. During each checkpoint, we attached a short detailed description related to each checkpoint location (i.e. Mars, Europa etc) .We managed to keep the game to be atleast 98% scientifically accurate to educate the user how the universe works in actual world.
How do you create more awereness for breakthrough propulsion. To create real awareness you need to spark people’s interest. The things we really care for are the things we are interested the most. people are willing to give up alot for what they care for the most. And exactly that kind of dedication is what is needed for Breackthrough propulsion.
Passion like this is hard to come by. Most passions are sparked in people’s youth. As we were discussing on what our Idea should be I asked one of my team mates the question “What is it that got you interested in space exploration”. After thinking hard to himself he answered “I can still remember the first time that I watched a rocket , I was a young kid with no knowledge of rockets. I even thought the rocket was a dragon because of all the smoke. The older I got the more I got interested in space exploration”.
Most passions are sparked in people’s youth. It is there were are focus should be. How cliche as it is they are our future.
We used Unity to create a game where the player can explore space. We used the data from nasa to create engines, and we even created imaginary engines. The game showcases that fun and education can be equal. While you are not dodging flying objects your brain will get teased by some real brain cracking trivia.
For the trivia questions Inspace Aviators used this website SpacePlace from NASA.
