We decided to develop a game in which the character is recruited to go into space by NASA. In his adventure through space he needs to collect space junk to improve his ships and go faster and faster to the speed of light. We hope this game could inspire people about the space travel and exploration.
We choose this challenge because we liked the idea of doing something creative and usefull. And because of our academic experience and personal interests, the challenge was fit for us. We use the app Game maker which is used to program games or tools. It is very easy to use for beginners. It was difficult for us to find an hour in which we all can work together, but we fixed it. We came up with the idea of the upgrading of spacecrafts beacose it had to do with the speed. then, we set aside tasks, and while some of us were programing the others find out ideas or edit the characters view.
We based the planets in our game on planets that were dicovered by NASA and implented that data of those planets into the game. This data is directly from NASA and serves the purpose of making the game more engaging and informative
