Galaxus
Summary
Galaxus is a mascot I created for this challenge. Firstly, they are a genderless humanoid who is outgoing, cheerful, and possessing the curiousity of a child (Well, technically, they are around 200 years biologically, but physically, they are around 10 - 13 years old.) they also dislike prejudice.
How I Addressed This Challenge
My project, Galaxus, addresses this challenge by trying to relate to all age groups of people alike, to help people seek knowledge, and embrace different ideas and lifestyles.
How I Developed This Project
I did not use any codes, but the software that I used to draw my mascot kept freezing, that I could not continue with the mascot creation. Furthemore, I have been facing what is called an "art block", which is the bankruptcy of creative ideas. To solve this problem, I looked at photos in the NASA resources database, in order to learn more about what astronauts do. What inspired me to make this challenge was sheer curiosity.
How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project
First, I searched "Life in Space" in the NASA resources database, in order to learn more about how astronauts communicate with elementary schoolers, and then I searched for specific terms, such as "Sleeping in space"
