Create a Mascot

The world is full of scientific information that can help us make informed decisions and take action. However, that information is not always accessible to young learners. Your challenge is to create a mascot that can help make learning about Earth and space science more fun and welcoming for younger audiences.

ARTEMIS CENTER

Summary

First of all, I would like to talk about the topic selection process. Actually, we were very hesitant during the subject selection process, we tried different topics, but we decided that the best thing was to make a mascot and make a website about it. So why did we choose the subject of mascot? The reason for this was the small number of people who had information about space, if people actually learned this information, they could look at space in a very different way, so we created a mascot because we wanted to attract the attention of children. As for the site process, we were in favor of a simple design and we immediately got to work and created a site and we will develop the site.

How We Addressed This Challenge

In this project, we aimed to draw the attention of the young generation to space. This project is very important for the future. This project aims to attract the attention of the young generation with the help of a mascot and direct them to a website where information about black holes, neutron stars and white dwarfs is written. In this project, we hope to attract the attention of the young generation to space. We used the mascot in an animation and added it to the site. These animations we have created provide information about black holes, neutron stars and white dwarfs and draw their attention to the site. While making the website, we paid attention to its design and function. We chose the black hole, neutron star, and white dwarf subjects because they are not well known but interesting.

How We Developed This Project

Describe how you developed your project

We think about the topic for 4-5 hours and then decided to make a mascot that would teach children about blackholes, neutron stars and white dwarfs. We used Voki as mascot animator and we spent our time looking for info. We had some problems with website builder but we did it.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used NASA website.
