Create a Mascot

The world is full of scientific information that can help us make informed decisions and take action. However, that information is not always accessible to young learners. Your challenge is to create a mascot that can help make learning about Earth and space science more fun and welcoming for younger audiences.

Solar Journey

Summary

We tried to make an interactive game to help the users learn more about the solar system in an easy, fun and creative way. Our game " Solar Journey" will take you in an enjoyable journey through the space. You can explore the solar system, do some interesting quizzes to measure your information and play some interesting mini-games! Our mascot is "Proto" a robot who will guide you in your journey.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Scientific information can often feel inaccessible, especially to young learners. Abstract concepts can be difficult to understand. Numbers can feel overwhelming. Also, the scientific resources can feel boring and complex. All of these things can make learners lose interest or feel that it's impossible to learn. We tried to solve this problem through our game, by making it simple, interactive, easy to use and engage with the information.

How We Developed This Project

We used scratch to build this project. We used the simple concepts of programming in Scratch such as adding images as backgrounds , asking and waiting for the answer to make the project more interactive ,and the actual coding of the project.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used NASA websites images and information in the game.
