Summary
Our challenge / Project was to CREATE A MASCOT which can help Making learning about Earth and Space science more fun and welcoming for younger audience.We have created a cartoonish figure of a Penguin as our Mascot character.It has the attractive pictures of space phenomena (like- Supernova explosion ) to attract young learners towards Space Science.It also shows earth in both of its hands in two different conditions and conveys us the message of saving our mother planet . We have also tried to connect NASA to the public through our mascot.

Our Challenge was to create a Mascot which and influence young learners and which can increase their curiosity in earth and space science.

How We Developed This Project
What inspired our team to choose this Challenge?
We chose this challenge because through mascot we can attract a large number of younger audienceand it is necessary for them to learn about earth and space science at a young age and also we wanted to develop their interest in this through our Mascot so that they can explore more about Earth and Space and the Mascot will also make them realize the importance of saving our planet so that they can TAKE ACTION accordingly.
How we developed our project?
Firstly we used MS PowerPoint to make our PPT presentation. Then for creating and designing our mascot we used different types of application for example PicsArt, Blenders 3D and sketchbook. and after making our presentation and Mascot we merge both of them in an editing application! And thatβs how we made our project using the technology easily available around us.
How this project inhanced our knowledge and what we achieved during the making of this project?
- By making this project, we get know more about the Research that NASA has done so far.We also get to learn more about black holes, supernova explosion and all the current situation of our earth and importance of taking steps and measures to save Earth.
- From this we also learnt a lot about technology and the use of designing application available to us.
- this project has made us realize the importance of Mascot in influencing people around us.
