Create a Mascot

The world is full of scientific information that can help us make informed decisions and take action. However, that information is not always accessible to young learners. Your challenge is to create a mascot that can help make learning about Earth and space science more fun and welcoming for younger audiences.

ESM(Earth Science Mascot)

Summary

We want to make an application to younger audiences and bigger of this science to help them to know information about Earth science and go deep in the information about this science. We will collect data from websites and books. We want to make information in a video made by animation. We choose animation especially because it makes understanding easily and makes the watcher have fun. We will start with a simple topic and then go deep. We also want to make a quiz after each video to let them practice and know how much information they know.We want to make a new mascot that it has an attractive character and playful. We will not change it in each video. We will make our application from you

How We Addressed This Challenge

We want to take information from websites and books to collect it in an application to make studying earth science easier. our application is designed for all ages and we will cement it with books and geo maps. Our application is so important especially in our age because earth science information is very huge and to know from where to start reading or studying in this science is very hard, so we will collect all information in our application and make it as a stages put earth science's books and geo maps to make study easy and on the best road. We want to make videos that contest of animations as we use it to make information more simple and watcher do not feel boring. We want to make a quiz after video to help them to evaluate themselves. Our application can work offline.

How We Developed This Project

We chose this challenge because we saw that the study of earth sciences is very rare among young people, and some of them see that it is not entertaining and do not want to read about it, so we decided to do a program to study earth sciences, but it is fun. We will use animation to develop our project and make it more attractive to young people

To implement this project, we need a program

Adobe after effects to create animated videos so that each animation video will explain a specific geoscience topic

And a video editing program, to add audio to the video

We need netBeansIDE8.2 to design our project using java

And we need Android Studio to make our app version dependent on Android because the majority use this type

The problems that our team faced are limited to the difficulty of collecting verified information. We have faced some difficulties in verifying the correctness of the site’s information on the Internet, but Nasa Earth Science helped us and provided us with a lot of concrete and useful information.

We also had difficulty finding free books in order to collect some information from them, and they also faced difficulty in monitoring that information due to its large number

But we were able to achieve many accomplishments. We learned to do the right research process, gather documented information from reliable sources, and collect information that will benefit many generations of different ages, not just young people.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

In the beginning, we benefited from the challenges of Nasa and realized the number of problems facing society, which we were ignorant of, and we learned the importance and necessity of thinking about them deeply and finding solutions to them, which in turn will lead to the good and progress of mankind, as our participation in this competition implanted in us a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.

We also benefited from the Nasa Earth site a lot and obtained from it many useful and important information on many topics such as Air,

Climate,

Water, Oceans and Ice and

Land.

We also benefited from the Nasa STEM engagement of (Earth Science) affiliated with (Subjects) in (Students) and collected many valuable information from them.

Nasa Data reported us a lot and we read from it many previous research papers, which helped us a lot in arriving at the idea of our project.
