PHOENIX - 41| Create a Mascot

Create a Mascot

The world is full of scientific information that can help us make informed decisions and take action. However, that information is not always accessible to young learners. Your challenge is to create a mascot that can help make learning about Earth and space science more fun and welcoming for younger audiences.

Big Universe for Little Kids

Summary

LEXIE is an education module that is thought on about augmented reality(AG) which also appeals the needs of the age. LEXIE looks like one personality, but he is a character made of multiple different personalities. He aims to infuse the kids at the age of 5-12 the concept of "Big Universe for Little Kids" by having the facial expressions of the emojis they see the most and the voice-overs that were specifically made for the emojis.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We develped a mascot. It is important because it will make the kids love the space. It teaches the children the space in an entertaining way. He will teach the kids the space throughout informative videos. We hope to achieve the goal of making the young people more educated about the space.

How We Developed This Project

We were inspired by our teacher's dream of making the kids love the space. Our approach to developing this project was more from the perspective of the children. We used video making, gif editing and character designing tools. Our team had some hard times using the video making tools, which we had overcome. Our team's main achievement was making the video and developing the presentation.
