The world is full of scientific information that can help us make informed decisions and take action. However, that information is not always accessible to young learners. Your challenge is to create a mascot that can help make learning about Earth and space science more fun and welcoming for younger audiences.
Mascot Laika
Summary
The purpose of our project is to introduce space ad planets to kindergarden and primary school students. Upon our goal, we decided to explain this to the students in a way that they can understand and attract their attention, with a mascot, and this way the idea of unicorn laika came up. We named her laika because, dog Laika the first creature who went to space.
How We Addressed This Challenge
We created unicorn Laika because we noticed that mascots attract kids attention most. After realizing this consolitated what kids love second most, unicorns! Unicorn Laika introduces children to space and planets, making space and mystery more intersting. We believe Unicorn Laika will make kids more corius about spac and discovering.
How We Developed This Project
First with our group we choose our challenge, then the idea of dog laika came to mind. After we realized that kids likes unicorns, so we put them together and done.
