Create a Mascot

The world is full of scientific information that can help us make informed decisions and take action. However, that information is not always accessible to young learners. Your challenge is to create a mascot that can help make learning about Earth and space science more fun and welcoming for younger audiences.

Prof. Gilda the 'Astronomer'

Summary

I have created my mascot based on Prof. Gilda who is a (Flamingo) Astronomer. I have used scratch code to develop series of animation to educate young children (aged 4 to 8) about space.

How I Addressed This Challenge

I have used simple illustration and voice over to share some interesting facts about space.

How I Developed This Project

I have browsed through the NASA website to read about interesting facts and compile a short visual to talk about it.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

I have used the data/images from NASA website to create the animation.
