Summary

TWO CONCEPTS VIZ. UMBRELLA TECHNOLOGY AND NANO HEXO ROBOTS ARE PROPOSED FOR CONSTRUCTING SIMPLE TO COMPLEX SPACE SHIPS SATELLITES OR EVEN STRUCTURES ON MOON AND MARS. UMBRELLA TECHNOLOGY: AN ALREADY COMPACT AND COMPLEX DESIGN OF TRUSSES AND PANELS WHICH CAN TAKE ITS FORM WITH SIMPLE MECHANICS OF HINGES AND JOINTS. NANO HEXO ROBOTS: THESE ARE NANO ROBOTS WORKING ON THE OCTOPUS MULTI ARMED CONCEPT WHICH CAN ASSEMBLE DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE SPACE SHIP.

How I Addressed This Challenge

CONCEPT 1 : UMBRELLA TECHNOLOGY

UMBRELLA TECHNOLOGY WOULD HELP SAVE SPACE WHILE CARRYING THE PAYLOADS IN THE SPACE . IT CAN BE ASSEMBLED IN SPACE AS PER REQUIREMENTS FOR MAKING EITHER COMPLEX SPACE SHIPS OR SATELLITES.



CONCEPT 2 : NANO HEXO ROBOTS

NANO HEXO ROBOTS ARE MULTIARMED ROBOTS. THE HEXAGONAL SHAPE AND ITS FACETS CAN BE USED FOR MULTIPLE PURPOSES SUCH AS, SOLAR PANELS, CAMERAS ETC. THESE WOULD BE LIKE MULTIPLE ROBOTS WHICH CAN BE USED FOR ASSEMBLY FROM SIMPLE TO COMPLEX FORMS.

THERE WERE NO COMPLEX TOOLS USED FOR THIS PROJECT INSTEAD SIMPLE AND BASICS CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS AND ARCHITECTURE ARE USED

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

THE CONCEPT OF ASSEMBLABLE LARGE SEGMENTED SPACE TELESCOPE GAVE ME AN IDEA AND IT INSPIRED ME TO DEVELOP MY CONCEPT.
