Let's Connect

For bigger spacecraft capable of executing bigger missions, some of the assembly may be done in space. Your challenge is to design a simple approach that enables components to be assembled in space.

Project name: SWARP

Summary

Already in the near future humanity will force will run into the problem of assembling of components of spaceships directly in space. But already now, there is a not enough only one manipulator of Canadarm 2 on ISS, and to use clones incredibly dangeres for their lives. What can there be a decision of problem? The decision of this problem is simple enough is drones. They will be equipped of a navigational system and by means of Artificial Intelligence to line up a route and principle of work with components in space.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Humanity quite soon will force to collect components in space for space flights on long distances. To simplify and maximally automatize this process, enlarge zone of action and to do minimum a threat for life of astronauts we offer our idea.

How We Developed This Project

During two twenty-four hours we designed and developed the idea of the use of drones for simple approach that will allow to do assembling of components in space for important space operations. Created conception and 3D model of drones and thought of concept of control program of drones, that will be written in the visible future. Our team has developed a developed 3d model of the drone using tools such as grib using the manipulator , user cantroller , engine with glimbal mounts.

Also we provida software, algorithms, and navigation system for that kind of space drones

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used a 3D model of the ISS and also used technologies that are currently being used to compare with our idea. Used the main characteristics of the docking of spacecraft with the ISS.
