Our road to Mars from home
Summary
We are the connectivity group, we are from Córdoba, Argentina, and we consider ourselves quite curious people.Our challenge is based on communicating the mission of Artemis to the world through our artistic work, which we decided to represent with everyday objects, due to the situation of preventive isolation.We believe that it is important for the planet to know that human beings will reach the planet Mars for the first time in history, thanks to the fact that we have developed a new technology and managed to build the most powerful rocket ever seen.Through our project, represented in a video, we recreate scenes in which you c
How We Addressed This Challenge
We believe that the dissemination of NASA projects is important, therefore, our video aims to inspire other people to take a journey from Earth to Mars, from home. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are all at home, but that does not prevent us from traveling through art.
How We Developed This Project
We made a video explaining the importance of the Artemis mission and the upcoming sustainable space trips to Mars. We take photographs with miniature handmade characters, recreating scenes such as Earth, Mars and the Moon with everyday stuffs, like food, office stuff, clothes, toys, etc.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
To script the video, we used information provided by NASA in their articles on Artemis, on the Space Launch System. We also used a photograph of the lunar surface from NASA.
