As my story is a short story, younger generations will be more inclined towards reading it than long informative books which might bore them in the long run. By including relatable experiences the readers will be able to understand the story better and understand it better. To all those who like myself love to read will find it enjoyable. Being a teenager myself I can understand their thoughts and interests better. This has resulted in a short story named "Sharon's Story". The story is about a space loving girl who cannot visit the museum because of the pandemic and how she is able to visit the museum and learn a lot of new and interesting things. This story, I hope, will encourage others to take interest in space especially Mars.
As I was browsing through the various challenges, two challenges attracted me - one was "Earth a digital history" and the other was "Putting the 'art' in Artemis". I chose the future and began brainstorming ideas for "Putting the 'art' in Artemis". It was mentioned in the challenge statement that the art work can also be either written or spoken work. Being an avid reader I chose to write my first short story. browsing through all the resources I found an entire website dedicated to Mars(linked below) which became my primary source for all the information used.
All the information used comes from NASA's Mars exploration website. Rather than just telling a story I have included informational bits in the story to educate the reader. Thus the reader will have an informative and enjoyable read.
I have used one main website for all data about mars:
