Putting the 'Art' in Artemis

Your challenge is to create an artistic work to communicate, inform, or inspire others about humanity's road to Mars. Your art may be in any form, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, sculpture, computer generated 2D or 3D, music, film, music video, written or spoken word, dance, and textile.

The Little Big Road to Artemis

Summary

https://youtu.be/czODIuL1uOQIt is a project focused on expressing and inspiring in other people a feeling of wonder at the relevance of the project 'Artemis' which aims to take the first woman to the moon and reach Mars. As a means to transmit this adventure we will use audiovisual media. We will make a music video, where we will make the music tell a story that will end in the present, dreaming of the future. We will make this story present in the mind of a girl who wants to be an astronaut to be part of the 'Artemis' mission.

How We Addressed This Challenge

https://youtu.be/czODIuL1uOQ

A video was developed whose importance lies in transmitting a message that inspires us to continue fighting for what we are passionate about despite the fact that the circumstances may be difficult. These factors are numerous but all of us have at some point in our lives come across them, so the aim is for the viewer to feel identified to some extent with the story. The music will be the guideline to express the story and the emotions that will be seen in the video. We will tell the story at the racconto, during the climax of the life of the adult version of a girl, starting with the final part in which her dream has been fulfilled, she is about to take off aboard that spaceship in which she wanted to be so much since her childhood.

It shows the story of a woman who wanted to be part of the crew 'Artemis' since she was a child and the journey she had throughout her life to be able to fulfill her dream.

We try to reach the viewers through the story to reflect on the perseverance and inspire them to follow their passions despite the difficulties that may arise, whether economic, social, political, emotional, etc.

We seek to tell a story attached to reality, with moments, feelings and normal emotions, present in any person for which these can be identified and above all, make the children and future generations closer to the world of science and space exploration as well as make them notice that there is still much to discover in this vast world and universe.

How We Developed This Project

https://youtu.be/czODIuL1uOQ

We decided to work on "Putting the 'Art' in Artemis" because we believe that art is one of the best ways to transmit ideas and feelings. It was agreed to use music and video as means to express our feelings, since no scientific knowledge is needed to understand these arts.

The feelings that motivated us to create our music video are mainly the emotion to see humanity arrive at the Moon again, this time men and women together; the curiosity to know what is outside our world; the need for natural human knowledge and the perseverance needed to fulfill the dream of thousands of children, the dream of humanity, to reach "the stars", to explore the Moon, Mars and the Universe.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

The data was used as background on the green screen in some scenes that required it. It also gave us ideas and context about the timeline of the story.
