Our final result was a short videoclip with some touching images collected from Nasa and a message of inspiration for all of the generations coexisting in our present world. We believe it is important to make the Artemis mission known in all of the instances of society (not only the scientific) because it gives us a sense of hope, cooperation and inspiration to build together a better future.
With this short video, we could reach everyone, by sharing it online with friends and asking them to share them to their friends, creating a circle of knowledge about the mission very easy to achieve, since social media is one of the biggest means of information nowadays, used by everyone, everywhere. We hope we can bring awareness and raise the curiosity to search for more information about the Artemis Program, and about the importance of science itself.
We are both musicians and we're aware of how important and powerful music can be. We wanted to create a simple but touching video that could reach as many people as possible and spread awareness about Artemis Mission.
The approach was to combine our love for both Music and Science and spread it! We used the video and audio data provided by Nasa as our basis for the video, and we combined them together by using video creating and editing programs such as Filmora and iMovie.
The problem was that neither of us is a professional video maker, but we didn't let this stop us from trying and doing what we could with the large material data that we were provided. For the music creation and composition process, we sat together and let our creativity flow, by experimenting different tonalities, melodies and instrumentation.
Our entire video was made by using images from the Nasa data, provided to us by the challenge. We also used two audios that were included in this archive. It influenced our project deeply, because we were inspired by the images to compose the piece of music and create the text for the videoclip.
