Putting the 'Art' in Artemis

Your challenge is to create an artistic work to communicate, inform, or inspire others about humanity's road to Mars. Your art may be in any form, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, sculpture, computer generated 2D or 3D, music, film, music video, written or spoken word, dance, and textile.

Humanity's road to Mars

Summary

Our idea to inspire people about humanity's road to Mars is making an animation video that will earn people’s attention. The video will begin with a father convince his son that it will be possible soon, in 2024, to send a spacecraft with humans to Mars to discover it. After that, characters will play the role of space scientists to tell the story of humanity's road to Mars By talking about the challenges they faced to pave the way to reach Mars and how they will overcome these challenges, the latest developments in space ships, the goals and expectations that we hope to achieve by arriving to Mars and their importance to Earth. Musical commentary will be our way to deliver information.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our project is a video that makes people excited about NASA's trip to Mars and it gets people to think broadly about everything on this journey. It is important because it teaches people what challenges NASA faced in its journey that led to the delay of the launch date. This video is about a conversation between characters about the journey to Mars and talking about the challenges they faced in preparing for the trip and studying the surface of Mars and its ability to live there. We hope that this video will encourage people to search for details of NASA's trip to Mars, learn about some of the challenges that will be facing them, and suggest solutions to these challenges.

How We Developed This Project

Few people are interested in art, so we thought about choosing this challenge to motivate people to become interested in art and space science. We care about art and make people interested in it. We have experience in video editing and researching space science, So we hope to give people information about space and make them interested in space and research on their own. we used many programs to make this video like adobe illustrator, adobe premiere, adobe after effects and puppet pin tool. We used these tools to make this video and create the characters in the video.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

we used many websites to get information about NASA's Mars journey and the challenges they faced and how to solve it. we know information. We have information about the soil and air on Mars, and their habitability. we found images and videos that help in our project to make the video interesting and motivate people to search for the space science.
