Missions: to promote the Artemis project and to support them;to develop creative thinking and release your inner artist;to inspire society;to gather together space enthusiasts no matter what age they are;to involve artists into NASA;to spread awareness about space, NASA and all their projects;to make space art accessible to everyone;to help NASA with space research and technology development.Reasons:part of humanity doesn't understand the magic of space;there is NASA image gallery but no art gallery,The team RnC gathers 4 creative and beautiful minded people who just wanted to inspire society with space art.
How We Addressed This Challenge
We created artemiswith.us. It is a platform which introduces community world wide of the artistic side of space and NASA project Artemis. In this platform space enthusiasts upload their space art.
Most of the people doesn't understand the complex space science and technologies so most effective and easiest way to help people to understand it is to use an art as a tool of communication.
How We Developed This Project
We got inspiration just being artistic in our lives, and sitting together outside looking into the sky and full moon we understood that we have to participate in this challenge!
Our approach was pretty easy, just to make art, everything what came in our mind we have to put it out - on paper, on canvas, on computer etc.
The software we used was 'wordpress' content management system.
The achievement - we had special partner award from 'Accenture', but at the same time our own achievement were, we made art and we made WEB page for first time and also it was first time to participate in hackaton for each team member.
The problems - we had a lot of ideas, but the problem was that ideas were too much and we couldn't realise them because of our lack of skills with computer - coding, movie making, WEB page constructing etc., but in the end somehow we did it!
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
Most of the data that we used was just information from NASA WEB and we used photos. Since our project was artistic we just had to create our own information which will inspire people, and also will share the beauty of space art world wide.
