The discovery of the Red Planet
Summary
Hello, I am Mrunmayee Sanjog Mhatre. I am 11 years old and i live in India. My drawing shows the information of Mars collected throughout the decades. It shows how we humans got to know about The red planet. My drawing is based on a factual account of Mars. It shows the landing sites of the rovers sent by NASA. The landing sites of the rovers and the sizes of its moon may not be accurate. NASA's Perseverance rover is also mention including its landing site that is Jezero Crater.
How I Addressed This Challenge
I developed my brain while working on this project. It helped me solve each and every error that occured while thinking about my design. My project is important as it shows people how far we have gone through many decades . It informs people about the humanity's road to mars from the beginning, The discovery of its moons and the discovery of polar ice caps etc... There are many interesting topic from which people can learn more about the red planet . I hope to achieve that the people will get inspired from my presentation in a form of an art. I hope they will take interest in such activities and be a part of the next mission to Mars or many other planets.
How I Developed This Project
I am individually participating in this. While I was looking for some interesting topics, I saw many of them which were easy and hard at the same time. But the category 'create' really caught my eye. I loved to draw so i thought why not give this a shot. The category in create ' putting art in artemis' really caught my eye also. When i read the description, I thought that this was hard, but the suddenly the horses in my mind started to move. I love history, so i thought why not try to give this a different meaning. I looked up the internet for many topic relating to the red planet. I gathered them all in one design and i was quite satisfied with the end result. I used my chalk pastels / soft pastels and colour pencils to complete this project. My first problem was fitting all this information in a screen. It was tough but alas after 2 hours my rough diagram of the project was ready. The achievement was that i got good at drawing and my brain was also hype up to do this project as it looked stunning to me.

I used the following image for making the red planet. It made capturing the details of Mars closer and easier . The polar caps were also visible, so I thought to use this image in my solution.
