Space Art

Summary

Our main objective is to show the importance of Mars' colonization for humanity through 3D art. We made a comparison of the importance of America's discovery by Colombus and the process of Mars' colonization. The challenges Columbus faced are very similar to those we're facing, except that global cooperation is greater. We'll only be able to perpetuate our species for many centuries if we can prosper in other planets, systems, and galaxies, if not, we'll have the same destiny as dinosaurs.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our challenge is an artistic representation to inspire humanity to get to Mars, we intend to show that living on Mars is more than a dream, it's a reality that it's as important as Christopher Columbus's arrival in America. Mars' colonization will lead our race to the discovery of new TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS, NEW PERSPECTIVES, AND UNDERSTANDING BETTER OUR WORLD. We will not only need the "Spanish crown" we will need our entire planet to cooperate for us to get there and we will need to act as one to perpetuate our species and with this project we intend to show that this is possible because just like Henry Jones said: "Art is nothing more than the shadow of humanity.

How We Developed This Project

First of all, we had an insight, we decided to compare the mission to live on Mars to the same challenges Columbus faced when he discovered America. We used a mind map, in which we saw that there were several points in common between Columbus' exploration and our Universe's exploration, which will bring new discoveries, new perspectives, and a completely new world. Colombus's greatest motivation was competition, Mars' and Artemis' missions will be bases on cooperation for humanity to thrive.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used Nasa's image database to create many pictures of life on Mars.
