How We Addressed This Challenge

We live in an era in which the human race has been deforest and using natural resources in an uncontrolled and unconscious way leaving a sick Earth, the storytelling in 30s video format told by the team comes to transform and sensitize the human being so that they focus their energies on new technologies and discover new features that arise from habitability on Mars.

The average population is not prepared to think about living on another planet, but that may end today.

How We Developed This Project

The team consists of 2 female Hospital Architecture Designers and 2 male Systems Analysts members. We chose the “CRIO” challenge, as it is more connected to generating content, where everyone felt more comfortable for creation.

The idea of Photo collage arose thanks to the data format that we would have at our disposal, as the proposal is “creating content” to communicate, inform or inspire people about the path of humanity to Mars, images and audios have become attractive in view of the application.

We used the following softwares:

- Adobe photoshop - Image editor

- Adobe Illustrator - Image editor

- Sony Vegas Pro 15 - Video editor

- Voice Editor -Voice App

The first difficulty was organizing the initial ideas and how we were going to apply them, after a pre-formed already we had some guidance from the Mentors and by visual perception we decided to change some backgrounds and presentation formats because it wasn`t passing our final intention.

We decided to propose Social Inclusion where the video is subtitled in two languages, making it accessible to the hearing impaired, and the audio description of the video for the visually impaired, reaching the entire audience.

The biggest achievement was reaching the end of the challenge with the proposal finalized and with the objectives completed, thanks to the commitment and dedication of each member and Mentors.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

The initial idea was always to impact with the association of real images.

We used the data provided almost as a total as NASA images, along with the countdown audio.

Each image was taken with the intention of impact, seeking to fragment the idea of travel and housing another planet.

Counting audio is one of the focal points of the proposal, showing not only in a female voice but also symbolizing a change to a new era. The era of the red planet.
