Putting the 'Art' in Artemis

Your challenge is to create an artistic work to communicate, inform, or inspire others about humanity's road to Mars. Your art may be in any form, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, sculpture, computer generated 2D or 3D, music, film, music video, written or spoken word, dance, and textile.

The Passage

Summary

Over the course of decades, humanity had accomplished what once believed is impossible. The quote of humanity is "We born on this planet and leave this planet at the end". But the technological advances drifting our dimensions to the whole new levels by saying "Why leave on earth and why not on other planets?". This shift in paradigm imprints the shoe markings on the moon like never before and the first ever tyre markings on the mars. This continues to evolve and within no time, we are also going to step our footsteps on the mars too joining the rovers.

How We Addressed This Challenge

I think Art of any kind speaks a lot, it conveys more than what we want. So here we have imagined and recreated a scenario of what it would be like if there is really a way of achieving the passage between our planet and Mars.

How We Developed This Project

Even though everything's are 3-D spaces, we used 2-D drawings and sketches to create the whole atmospheric perspective of rover from Mars. This wholly sketch is predicted by the data provided and available to us.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We know that NASA has already sent Mars rover which is updating everything about the atmospheric conditions and evolutions on mars. We used that data and predicted the circumstances of human on mars when they reach to Mars and it was conveyed by us through our art.

By keeping in resonance with this motivation, we imagined how it could looks like when the humans feel the martian surface touch and be on the same pace with the rovers. We have drawn the two astronauts with rover alongside besides the blue sunset which signifies the baby steps in manifesting the dream of colonizing the mars. With the help of advanced technologies, the latency can be reduced in achieving the dream. We believe that one day humans will be sitting on the top of the martian hill, hanging out with their children's and showing the earth which was being used to be a living place for our grandparents.
