Putting the 'Art' in Artemis
To Mars and Back
Summary
Within a short movie, we exhibit the journey of the Egyptian people to get to space. The movie starts with the Egyptians reunite in front of their televisions waiting for the announcement of the first Egyptian space mission to Mars from the Egyptian space agency. Then we share scenes of our astronauts highlighting the hardest moments they face before their historic mission, technically and psychologically then overcoming them. Finally, we see our astronauts leaving us to go to our new home, Mars.
How We Addressed This Challenge
The challenge to make an artistic work inspiring people about our road to mars, has met our project that visualizes the steps humanity took from imagining space travel to making that real with that mission of getting the first man to mars.
How We Developed This Project
First, we have defined the problem which is mentioned above. Next, we have brainstormed possible solutions and researched about prior solutions to see their advantages and disadvantages. Then, we have made specific research about what we have decided to do which was a short film. We have decided which scenes we will shoot, their places, time to do them and tools we will need in them. We started shooting as on the timeline. There were many problems faced us but because we gave ourselves time if there were problems we worked successfully. Then, we started to edit the video professionally to make it as good as possible. Finally, we have taken 30 seconds from the short film to put them in the demo. We have shoot scenes on mars at short film are in Borj el arab deserts.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
We used some of the videos in NASA's Gallery which helped us in identifying the psychological statue of the astronauts before going on the space travels.
We gained information about rovers and robots that have gone to Mars before.
