To Mars and Beyond!
Summary
My submission is a picture of the Mars landscape -- complete with atmospheric perspective, red rock, and even a green atmosphere, because of the different concentrations of gases in the air compared to Earth. It has a NASA png in the middle and contains the phrase "To Mars and Beyond..." in the bottom left corner.
How I Addressed This Challenge
The challenge was for a piece of art that showed humanity's aspirations to reach Mars. By depicted a Martian landscape, it makes the viewer realize how beautiful (and unexplored) the terrain is. I hope that it inspires the next generation of thinkers and doers to become pioneers and set foot in this new world of discovery. The addition of the phrase "To Mars and Beyond" with three dots after it shows that this is NOT our stopping point -- right now we're working towards it, but we'll keep on innovating in the future! There is a universe of discovery, and the three dots are just a continuation -- To Mars and Beyond... and to mankind! Who will continue the narrative?
How I Developed This Project
I chose to do this project because I love art and the creativity allowed in this project really inspired me. You were encouraged to do whatever you felt best addressed the challenge -- and make it fun and interesting along the way!
How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project
A png of NASA was used in the center screen -- NASA has really inspired me, especially after growing up in America and being exposed to all of their innovations, it helped lead me to my passion.
