Putting the 'Art' in Artemis

Your challenge is to create an artistic work to communicate, inform, or inspire others about humanity's road to Mars. Your art may be in any form, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, sculpture, computer generated 2D or 3D, music, film, music video, written or spoken word, dance, and textile.

Mission to Mars Project

Summary

Mission to Mars is a simulation game where you start from the moon's base, and heading to Mars. This project was created using the "Roblox" website. This project we created is to demonstrate how astronauts will be launched in the future from the Moon to Mars, and beyond.

How We Addressed This Challenge

We developed a simulation game based on the Artemis Project. This project depicts the importance of the NASA's Artemis Space Mission of launching astronauts back to moon after 55 years. We made this project by using Roblox Studio, commands, and scratch coding to make this simulation. The astronauts get into a rocket from the base of the moon, to the planet Mars. It works by pressing a launch button inside the module, and it will start a timer, and will shut the doors of the rocket. Then the countdown will start, and at the end the 3 stage rocket is launched towards Mars. We hope for the rocket to safely reach Mars without any difficulties.

How We Developed This Project

We were inspired by the NASA's Artemis Project where the project goal is to launch the astronauts both men, and women to Moon after 55 years. We were inspired by Roblox games, and the game's platform that allows to create such simulations. We used Roblox command tools, and also used Scratch coding from MIT to help us with our simulation, and art. We had challenges in launching the rocket ship from the base of the moon to Mars, after several optimizations, we are still in the process of fixing this as I upload this project.
