Putting the 'Art' in Artemis

Your challenge is to create an artistic work to communicate, inform, or inspire others about humanity's road to Mars. Your art may be in any form, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, sculpture, computer generated 2D or 3D, music, film, music video, written or spoken word, dance, and textile.

To the moon and back

Summary

"Let's turn all the unbelievable into reality" as we mentioned before, we decided to work on Putting the Art In Artemis because we think that informing people about complex scientific information through a painting will be admirable. The aim behind our work and researches is to create an artistic work that can be like a magic key to a new life and a way of explaining how there could be a life on a planet other than the Earth! Our painting inspires people, explains and facilitates the scientific information in a simple, detailed and innovative way.Nasa researches and experiments inspired us to think about humans’ road to Mars, how life will be there and provided a lot of information that

How We Addressed This Challenge

The challenge we chose (Putting the art in artemis) is all about communicating with people and informing them about the road being paved straight to Mars in order to start a new life there, through an artistic work. NASA scientists, researchers and astronauts have been up to a lot of research and experiments lately in order to prove that there can be life on other planets other than the earth and they are collecting results and information about how to host such a great change. They even proved it by sending journeys to the earth’s moon and to test how life can be outside the globe. As a result, it’s everyone’s duty at least to know about this change and stay updated on the topic. And since most people don’t really follow topics like this and have no idea about it, we, “to the moon and back” team found ourselves responsible to educate humanity about this by developing this project. Furthermore, nothing can deliver a message quickly, simply and in an entertaining way more than a visual representation, displayed by our team as a couple of paintings. And so, by putting all the NASA-obtained information needed, we simplified the matter in these drawings, hoping to have achieved informing, inspiring, and communicating with people about humanity’s road to Mars.

How We Developed This Project

We chose this challenge because we found this challenge different, needs Innovative and creative ideas to create an artistic work that inform and inspire people about humans road to mars . In our project, the moon dust is a source of certain gases and liquids. It will happen by developing motors that collect and sift lunar dust and transfer it to the processing reactor, then by heating the dust to the point where hydrogen ,oxygen and other elements are extracted. The extracted gases are then converted into water and fuel. By this experiment it makes it easier to live on a planet other than the earth ,encourage people to learn more about experiment and be ready to embrace chance of creating a whole new life outside the earth . our aim is to illustrate this challenge through a couple of paintings. lack of time was one of problems that team faced along with difficulty of communication. Interviewing the team and making the painting based on a lot of information is one of the achievements of the team.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

Firstly, we have done a lot of researches on NASA’ cloud challenge, after a long period searching on space data, we found a lot of information about the space flights to Mars. A lot of challenges were about Mars and it’s little difference from Earth planet, long journeys to Mars suffer from a lot of problems and lack of needs and even astronauts, but those quarrels inspire us to search for the essential needs In other ways, “Earth’s Moon” is our solution to solve up the big problem that faces experts which is Rotating Robots, we discovered that Earth’s moon dust is rich with gases that will be used to extract water and oxygen gas and operate active robots specified to Mars trips.
