Putting the 'Art' in Artemis

Your challenge is to create an artistic work to communicate, inform, or inspire others about humanity's road to Mars. Your art may be in any form, including (but not limited to): drawing, painting, sculpture, computer generated 2D or 3D, music, film, music video, written or spoken word, dance, and textile.

Summary

48 years have passed since man did not set foot on the Moon, the return of humans to the Moon will be a historic and hopeful event for our future generations. The Artemis mission has an ambitious proposal. That is why we bring this proposal as a game to know the stages of the Artemis Mission 2024 so that many boys and girls can get involved and learn more about our universe and solve the problem of communicating, informing and inspiring others on the way of humanity to Mars. It's the first time that a woman steps on the Moon, we encourage more girls to get involved in science and that they better play and have fun.

How We Addressed This Challenge

To tackle this challenge. First, we documented the information provided by NASA. Second, we brainstorm ideas to shape our project idea little by little. Third, we made use of some of the programs mentioned above to be able to elaborate it, we were very responsible with our schedule made to carry out our project.

How We Developed This Project

First of all, mention how vast the Universe is and it is precisely this point that inspires us to develop a game modality which is practical and methodical that allows children, adolescents to learn more about the Earth, the Moon and the different planets that in the long term we will be improving the prototype of our game. First of all, the focus of our game is to go from the Earth to the Moon with the different obstacles, the missions to be carried out, the journey in general and of course, make the extension to Mars in the future. The tools we use in our project are Zoom, Excel, Figma, Jamboard (within this, brainstorming). The link that is presented shows all the development such as brainstorming and graphs generated in a practical way:

The problems in the first instance that were presented to us are the wide variety of details, first of all in terms of the infrastructure of the ship at the time of takeoff, all the conditions that make it effective, but since it is aimed at children, consider an interactive language to the children. And of course, the different moments in the journey from the Earth to the Moon, the obstacles, the levels of difficulty. On the other hand, we have achieved a prototype as the first season in this case from the Earth to the Moon with a view to making an extension to Mars and even to Mars, as can be seen in the previous link in script number 5.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

In our project defined as a game we include the exposed information from NASA such as the Artemis I, II, III mission, the information from the take-off process until leaving the Earth and the journey to the Moon. In addition to the fact that in our game the missions are based on the descriptions of the different Artemis papers obtained from NASA.
