Summary
Production of carbon fibers by feeding CO2 to algae. The biofuels such as algae based ones can help a lot in saving energy. Numerous algae feed on CO2 present in atmosphere ,power plants into their cells and forming a byproduct ,Glycerol .The Glycerol has wide range of use in cosmetics and chemical industry .Glycerol oil formed is made to react acrylonitrile and form carbon fibers .Use of solar reflectors reduces energy consumption being eco friendly .Our project is the only project which has not even a single disadvantage.
How We Addressed This Challenge
The carbon fibers manufacturing surely helps in many discoveries, inventions .It helps in environmental stability ,protect nature as well ,a main action to reduce carbon emissions to great and also make use of waste ones creating useful ones as co2 is made useful as carbon fiber which has wide range of uses .This ideology can help us in resolving the problem which is not resolved till date. We young and energetic youths are determined in stepping out of crowd to take initiative and making our own communication in collaboration with schools, colleges and educate the people regarding the current scenario of deforestation ,heavy use of of transport, appliances, our lifestyles everything and idealizing them to adapt methodologies one can easily follow such as switching to solar appliances ,reduced transport also other aspects.
How We Developed This Project
The ongoing global issue like greenhouse warming made us to choose this topic so that we can contribute at least a bit we can do something to our mother and protect her in the regard.
We went on through few articles, publications and resource descriptions, so that we can idealise on the topic .Facing few hardships, we were finally able to go through all the resources and have made it and implemented an exciting idea of manufacturing the carbon fibers out of algaes.
How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project
Looking at the data present over there, we could realize the present scenario where we are ending up to the extinction of the mother Earth. As per the data resources though previous amount of carbon emissions were very little and nowadays at present it has been grown up to it has been increased up to several billion tons of carbon dioxide and carbon emissions have been released. By this we could know the impact of creating such an idea to visualize an improvise to resolve the situation and bring it into a control.
