We have developed a tool which calculates the number of trees that are needed to be planted in a region to maintain a balanced carbon level based on the amount of carbon emission. This is important in order to maintain a balanced environment and reduce global warming. The code asks user to input the amount of carbon emissions in his location and uses its complex algorithm to give the user a solution in the form of the number of trees required to absorbed the amount of carbon emitted in the region.
Climate changes like Australian forest fires and heat waves have been hitting the Earth recently and has left out its ill effects on this planet amid the Corona virus pandemic. Our main or most probably the biggest concern right now is climate that has undergone drastic changes since few years now. Hence we decided to choose this topic of recording/keeping track of the carbon footprint in such a way that bring about a social awareness amongst the public.
We hope to bring about a small change in our society by promoting afforestation in our respective homes that can help in absorbing the amount of carbon dioxide present in our atmosphere.
we used the data which is provided by the space agency like the carbon emission details which was identified using the satellites, and the other tools which are present in on the webpage to get the information. we also used carbon emission details and records of various space programme.
