What Is Our Carbon Footprint?

Your challenge is to identify local sources of carbon emissions and/or estimate amounts of carbon emissions for different human activities to aid scientists in mapping carbon sources and sinks. How can you inform decisions to adapt to the consequences of a changing world and aid policy makers in making plans for the future?

Summary

Firstly, we started to think about a very current problem of nowadays' world: carbon dioxide emissions getting increased day by day. Our aim is to take action in order to reduce our carbon footprint and inform people. Because, if we don't act immediately and raise awareness, we will be dealing with problems way more serious than nowadays', that may even be at the size we can't even imagine. So we created a carbon footprint calculator. It calculates your carbon foot print based on the answers you gave to the questions asked on the calculator. How We Addressed This Challenge

We developed a basic carbon footprint calculator and some animations. It is important because the world is getting more dirty day by day. Calculator's aim is raising awareness among people and save the world. Animations' aims are inform people with funny and image methods. It calculates your carbon foot print based on the answers you gave to the questions asked on the calculator. We hope that people will make some changes in their lifes and start paying attention on carbon emition.

How We Developed This Project

We inspired from this project's necessarity. Because the world is getting more dirty day by day. If we don't stop polluting our environment, it could be too act afterwards. We used Thunkable to create a basic carbon footprint calculator and Renderforest to create animations. We experiecented the lack of internet.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used NASA's Climate Change website about carbon dioxide. It helped us to understand and group datas. Graphics were useful for us to form our project.
