Summary
Since we know that the high locations of methane or carbon producing are from the most developed countries and from people who have (education, technology, cars ... etc ) so In fact people who are living in poor countries they do not have air conditions ,TVs, cars .. etc as much as people who live in better place. and for these people to consistently living in this level they are getting education and work so we need to address an trucker for these people carbon footprint and give them the awareness toward it.
How I Addressed This Challenge
I developed an idea of Application or work system that connect different government authorities with NASA program to truck and share awareness about people carbon footprint and really show through it how small change can make big impact to our plant. where organization who will be part of this App or system from NASA will have a credit of giving back to the plant and care about environment.
every employee and student will get this app will record there daily activity toward the environment and all these data will back to the big system and organization will give points for the environmental employee and we will be able to share this mentality and awareness of how being an eco-person is also important for your school and university grades as well as your position at work.
How I Developed This Project
actually this idea stared with me before one year when I took an environment course in the university as free elective I was shocked from the information I got in every class specially the carbon foot print class where I was don't know anything about this word and what does it mean, I remember we did calculate our carbon footprint through one of the websites and my result was 265% more than the normal usage and we took a challenge to change out negative actions by the end of the course my result of carbon footprint reduced to 190% with really small action such as take my own cup to re-fell it from Starbucks rather than having a new plastic one every time.
How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project
using the data I can proof that most of the countries with high GDP is the one who have also high carbon footprint.
