A carbon footprint is the amount of greenhouse gases—primarily carbon dioxide—released into the atmosphere by a particular human activity. 1.TRANSPOTATION

As we can see above about the collected information the highest no. of Carbon is emitted by domestic flights because the modern way of transportation has been developed.


DO WE HAVE ANY SOLUTION FOR THIS ?


DOMESTIC FLIGHTS ARE SMALLER FLIGHTS COMPERED TO THE LONG HAUL FLIGHTS SINCE PEOPLE TRAVEL IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF POPULATION DURING DIFFERENT TIMES IF WE CAN MINIMIZE THE NO.OF FLIGHTS FLYING PER DAY BY REPLACING THEM WITH BIG DOMESTIC FLIGHTS LIKE BOEING 747'S AND THEN THE AMOUNT OF CARBON EMISSION CAN BE REDUCED.


FOR TRANSPOTATION MODES SUCH AS CARS BUS AND OTHERS CAN BE REPLACED BY ZERO EMISSION METHODS LIKE ELECTRIC VEHICLES.



2.ELECTRICITY GENERATION

TODAY THE COAL POWER PLANT IS BEEN HIGHLY USED THAN ALL OTHER ELECTRICITY METHODS AND THATS BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST WAY TO GENERATE ELECTRITY IN LARGE AMOUNT OF QUANTITY WHICH PRODUCES 921 G/CO2e/KWh OF CARBON


TODAY HUMAN ARE READY TO TRAVEL TO OTHER PLANETS SUCH AS MARS WHICH MISSION WILL NE ACCOMPLISHED BY 2024 TO SURVIVE IN THAT PLANET WITH ELECTRICITY THEY HAVE NO OTHER SOLUTION THAN SOLAR ELECTRICITY TILL NOW


BUT WHEN IT COME TO PLANET EARTH WE HAVE ALL SORT OF RESOURCES SUCH AS WIND ,WATER ,ETC.. WHICH ARE A BIT CARBON FREE .

IN THE FUTURE THE O3 (OZONE LAYER WILL BE DAMAGED ) WHICH CAN BE AN EXTINT TO LIFE LIKE ENDANGERED SPECIES TO PROTECT THEM WE CAN REPLACE THE POWER PLANTS WITH SOURCES SUCH AS SOLAR ENERGY AND HYDRO ELECTRICTY LIKE METHODS .


3.INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES AND ACTIVITIES

THE PIE CHART REPRESENTS THE AMOUNT OF PRODUCTION DURING INDUTRIAL ACTIVITIES AS WE CAN SEE LIKE MENTIONED ABOVE IN THE ELECTRICITY GENERATION CAUSES AGAIN UNDER INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES IT IS THE POWER PRODUCTION AND WE CAN USE THE SAME METHOD AS MENTIONED ABOVE .


4.COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTAL CAUSES



DURING COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES THE MOST EMISSION OF GREEN HOUSE GASES COMES UNDER ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

EXAMPLE; REFRIGERATORS- (IN OLD REFRIGERATORS CARBON MONOXIDE AND CH3 LIKE GASES ARE EMITTED WHICH ARE HIGHLY TOXIC AND THAT CAN DAMAGE THE OZONE LAYER )


FOR THIS WE CAN USE NEWLY DEVELOPED PRODUCTS AND NEWLY DEVELOPED REGRIGERATORS WHICH ARE ECO FRIENDLY


5.AGRICULTURE


THESE ARE THE GASES THAT ARE EMITTED IN THE AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES AND THE MAIN CAUSE UNDER THIS IS THE SOIL EMISSION WHICH IS AROUND 38% OUT OF ALL THE ACTIVITIES COMPARED TO IT .WHICH RELEASES GASES SUCH AS CH4 AND N20 .

OUT OF ALL THE ACTIVITIES UNDER THIS CH4 IS THE COMMON GAS EVOLVED IN A HIGHER AMOUNT THEREFORE WHEN IS COMES TO SOIL EMISSION IT EVEN OCCURS NATURALLY

BUT BIOMASS BURNING ,ENTERIC FERMENTATION,RICE PRODUCTION,AND MANURE PRODUCTION ARE HUMAN ACTIVITIES SO THOSE ACTIVITES CAN BE REDUCED VIA NATURAL METHODS INSTEAD OF ARTIFICIAL METHODS AND INTELLIGENCE.

 - A main reason for the increase of the carbon footprint is cutting down of forests. So we should put a stop to deforestation and practice reforestation. This way we will be able to reduce our carbon footprint.


•Use sustainable energy sources 

-In the present, most of our energy sources are fossil fuels and nuclear energy. Thes energy types are very harmful to our environment. So we should minimize using these energy sources. There are so many other innovative and creative ways to produce energy, such as Solar power and Wind energy.

Economic expansion, large population, human activities (oil, gas and coal exploration, agriculture) - 85 % of CH4 emissions of East Asia

Human population, exploration and transport of oil, coal from energy sector - weak CH4 signal in the last 20 year
