NASA’s activities in space have brought new knowledge of the Earth, inspiring new ways of thinking about humanity and the planet. However, many people aren’t aware that NASA studies the Earth in addition to other planets. Your challenge is to tell stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools. This will test your technical skills and your ability to think like a historian or educator.

Summary

In this project, we have tried to cover up the most important events that happened with NASA’s agency in a small creative video animation by using two application ( PowerPoint and Animaker ) to accomplish the mission of the challenge which is A Digital history in the challenge Inform. We emphasized on four essential events two of them was successful and the others was failures. The successful events we choose was Apollo 11 and Hubble observatory. The failures one of them was a “successful failure” which is Apollo 13 and the other one was OCO Orbiting carbon observatory which is one of the biggest failures of NASA that occurred in 2009.

How We Addressed This Challenge

Our project demonstrates the successes, failures and challenges that NASA went through using animation and making a presentation on the PowerPoint. This project is very important because it aims to introduce people in different age stages to the history of NASA that many people are ignorant of, and we hope that our project will achieve its purpose and everyone can get to know the history of NASA and the project ignites the desire within them to learn more

How We Developed This Project

What inspired us to choose this challenge that we notice the people don’t know about NASA successes and failures and the challenges that it faced so we want them to know all the information by our video animation which we did.

We use software programs which are Animaker to do the video animation which helps us to have a simple way to explain NASA’s history and PowerPoint to do our presentation

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

When we were doing our project research we used the official site of NASA , and it helped us very much specially while we were searching about the Hubble telescope and the OCO .

And it helped us really a lot when we started doing the power point video and the animation video , as it inspired us , not only by its information ,but by its pictures too, so it was a really good and high quality reference to use during the research .
