Mission to Planet Earth: A Digital History

NASA’s activities in space have brought new knowledge of the Earth, inspiring new ways of thinking about humanity and the planet. However, many people aren’t aware that NASA studies the Earth in addition to other planets. Your challenge is to tell stories of NASA’s Earth science enterprise using interactive digital tools. This will test your technical skills and your ability to think like a historian or educator.

Understand NASA's earth sciences legacy

Summary

Creating an application that helps users learn about NASA's Earth science heritage by displaying the most important satellites launched by the Foundation to study the Earth and information about each satellite using videos and texts with interactive digital tools.

How We Addressed This Challenge

This application helps users to better know the heritage of NASA Earth Sciences, as it shows the most important satellites launched by the Foundation and information about each satellite in the form of videos and this is the app source code and apk link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RqsbE0Ek2r6vuRIEBPEdruBrlayo224w?usp=sharing

How We Developed This Project

Through the use of texts and videos, and the design of a logo for the subject using digital tools .We used MIT app inventor to make the apps.

How We Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We have read on many topics related to the NASA Geosciences Foundation and its role in studying the Earth and its satellites until we reached a solution to the problem.
